CLEAR JUNCTION SHORTLISTED FOR EPA 2021 AWARDS

by 22 July, 2021Company News

The Emerging Payments Awards is one of the most prestigious events for the UK payments industry. They celebrate innovation and collaboration within the community, so we are proud to announce that Clear Junction has been named as an EPA 2021 finalist for the ‘Leading Emerging Payments Organisation’ category.

Any individual or business that forms part of the UK payments industry is aware of the Emerging Payments Award. The event has been going for some 14 years now and has long been known as one of the highlights of the year. Of course, the havoc wreaked by the pandemic sort of put everything on hold for a while, but now that there is light at the end of the tunnel, it appears that the 2021 edition of EPA will be taking place on 6 October at JW Marriott Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London.

The Emerging Payments Awards have been established to celebrate innovation and collaboration within the UK payments industry by recognising companies that have made significant advances in the way that people and businesses make payments today. Facilitating fast and effective payments is one of the cornerstones of Clear Junction’s offering, so we are delighted that our efforts have been recognised with a shortlist for the 2021 Leading Emerging Payments Organisation category.

CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE IN PAYMENTS

It is expected that more than 750 of the most senior executives from across the payments industry will be in attendance, which only adds to the prestige that the event has. In addition to being an excellent networking opportunity, there is an evening of entertainment – and we have heard many good things about the after-party!

There are over 200 nominations that are submitted each year, with the winners selected by an independent panel of 58 judges. Of course, we cannot list every judge on these pages, but some featured this year include David Parker, Robert Courtneidge, Neira Jones, Anne Pieckielon and the Chair of Judges, Andrea Dunlop.

There are too many categories for us to count, but those listed include ‘Best Financial Inclusion Payments Initiative’, ‘Best Direct Account to Account Solution’, ‘Best CSR or Charity Initiative’ and ‘Leading Financial Services or Payments Start-Up’. As mentioned above, the winners will be announced on 6 October 2021 and the evening kicks off at 6pm.

We wish all of the entrants the very best of luck and are really looking forward to what promises to be a splendid evening.
